Durov's actions are being investigated under Part 1.1 of Article 205.1 (aiding terrorist activity), Rossiyskaya Gazeta and Komsomolskaya Pravda reported on Tuesday night. The publications accused Durov of using the Telegram messaging app he created to assassinate nine Russian generals and coordinate attacks on schools and the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall.

1 month agoWhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook have been blocked in Russia using RuNet sovereignty technology. Roskomnadzor removed WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook from the DNS service of the National Domain Name System (NDNS).

The outage has affected all sales channels, including official websites, contact centers, and ticket offices. Passengers are unable to purchase, exchange, or return tickets, or arrange additional services. Rossiya, Pobeda, Ural Airlines, Utair, Red Wings, Aurora, RusLine, Yamal, Alrosa, Izhavia, and others are experiencing problems.
