Падазраваны адміністратар xss.is, вядомага рускамоўнага форуму па кіберзлачыннасці, быў арыштаваны ва Украіне. Падазраваны, які працаваў амаль 20 гадоў, нібыта зарабіў 7 мільёнаў еўра, садзейнічаючы кіберзлачыннасці. Аперацыю ўзначаліла Францыя пры падтрымцы Еўрапола.

Вялікабрытанія выкрыла і ўвяла санкцыі супраць трох падраздзяленняў ГРУ і 18 афіцэраў ваеннай разведкі, якія адказныя за правядзенне шматгадовай кампаніі шкоднаснай кіберактыўнасці, у тым ліку ў Вялікабрытаніі.
